Anthony Mosley (Sanford, DE) Q&A With Premo Hoops
I had the chance to catch up with standout freshmen, Anthony Mosley (Sanford, DE) this weekend. We talked about some of the deciding factors on picking Sanford School for high school and what it’s like to play for an AAU powerhouse like the D.C. Assault program. Anthony also mentioned some of his goals he has set for his upcoming freshmen season. There is a lot of buzz about Anthony Mosley he is considered one of the top rated players in his class in the tri-state area.
PHR: What schools have you heard from so far?
AM: I haven’t received any letters at this time, however I have had coaches from Delaware and Delaware State make positive comments about my game and encourage me to keep my grades up.
PHR: What are you looking for in a program and university?
AM: I am like most other players in the region aspiring to play in the Big East or the ACC, but in the end I really just want to play at a school with a good coach that plays my type of game and a school that offers a good education and a quality environment. Continue reading
A.J. English (Appoquinimink, DE) Class of 2011 Q&A With Premo Hoops
I had the chance to catch up with standout guard A.J. English (Appoquinimink, DE) the other day and we discussed his summer on the AAU circuit, recruitment and goals for the upcoming senior season. A.J. had a very successful summer on the circuit playing for Nike Team Takeover based out of D.C. and Coach Stevens, his AAU team won inaugural Nike EYBL championship at the Nike Peach Jam event.
PHR: What schools are recruiting you the hardest right now?
AE: It’s really the same with all my schools right now
Marquette, Virginia, Rutgers, Seton Hall, DEPAUL, UMASS, NC State, Wake Forest, UNLV, George Mason, South Alabama, Villanova, Clemson, Xavier, West Virginia and the whole A-10.
PHR: What schools are on your list right now?
AE: The schools I listed in the first question.
PHR: Do you have a top 3 or 5 right now?
AE: No I don’t have a top 3 or 5 yet.
PHR: What are you looking for in a program and university?
AE: I’m looking for a school where I step in right away and play and a school that I can help win right away.

I had the chance to catch up with senior Jaylen Bond (Plymouth Whitemarsh, PA) who committed to University of Pittsburgh in the spring then went out and had a very successful AAU campaign with East Coast Elite based out of Delaware. We talked about his goals for the upcoming season along with what he liked about Pitt and his summer.
PHR: What were the deciding factors on picking Pitt?
JB: I loved that it was in the city, the coaching staff, there program.
PHR: What are schools were in the running for your services?
JB: my top other choices were WVU and Temple. But a lot of other schools were showing interest and some offered.
PHR: What are some things you like about Coach Dixon and his staff?
JB: I like how he recruited me not an assistant, he is straight forward and honest plus he has a good/ winning program, and he is a good coach. Continue reading
